With house prices at an all time high it’s no wonder more and more of us are thinking about building extensions onto our properties, converting loft and basement spaces and building new structures in our gardens. With all these new spaces come new window solutions and recently I’ve been taking a look at VELUX range of window products. Since buying our house which was built in 1912 I’ve been thinking more about architecture, we’ve been busy trying to restore our homes original features, like fireplaces, ceiling moldings and floorboards. Once we have renovated the house our future plans are to build a summer house/ garden room at the bottom of our garden and I’ve already been searching for ideas and inspirations for it, I’ve always loved skylight windows as they let in loads of natural light, in many of the gorgeous location houses where I do my shoots they have VELUX Windows installed in the new parts of the properties. The above collage of window pics are a few of my recent fave found via Pinterest – check out my new Selina Lake – Windows & doors Pinterest Board for more of my inspiration. Below are some of the spaces I have styled for my books which had VELUX Windows fitted.
Are you panning to extend your property? Build a garden room or convert a loft space and will you be installing VELUX Windows?
