Home / Uncategorized / BIG NEWS!! I’ve started working on my 6th book!!

I’m delighted and thrilled to announce I’m currently working on my next book which will follow my five previous best-selling titles, Bazaar Style, Romantic Style, Homespun Style, Pretty Pastel Style and my most recent release Selina Lake Outdoor Living – all published by Ryland Peters & Small. My 6th book is due to launch Autumn 2015 so there’s a while to wait and plenty of organising, styling and writing for me be getting on with. I’m currently in the prep stages, I’m hoping to start shooting next month. As with my other books I can’t reveal the title or theme just yet but I’m hoping if you liked any of my previous books your love my next one! Follow me on Instagram for updates & behind the scenes on my book photoshoots.

LOOKING FOR AN INTERN
I’m looking for a budding Interior Stylist to assist me while I work on my new book, this is an unpaid position and I’m ideally looking for someone based in Surrey/Hampshire UK or surrounding areas with their own transport who is keen to gain experience working with me. It’s a flexible position from mid Sept to end of Nov 2014, I will need help for 6-10 days, of course I’m happy to pay your travel fees and provide substance. Your attend some of the photoshoots and assist me with shoot prep. My previous assistants went on to work with me on a paid/freelance basis and gained enough experience to work as stylists in their own right and get jobs on top Interiors magazines. Please get in touch if your interested:- stylist@selinalake.co.uk

I would be honored and excited to intern. Always a beginning of being a designer in general is 'education' and interning is a huge part of that, learning from professionals and soaking up all the inspiration you can. Wish I lived on that side of the world…. Good luck with your new book.

I wish I was younger, lived in the UK, and knew what I know (as an older person) about design. How lucky some young man or woman will be to learn from a master! 🙂 How fun!!!

Exciting stuff! I love all your previous books so I know this one, whatever the focus, will be well worth the wait.
Good luck with all the hard work in bringing it all together, and I hope you find the perfect, and very lucky, intern!
