On Sunday 13th July I headed north near Grantham to attend, Belvoir Fruit Farms 1st ever Elderflower Festival and I had a wonderful day. I set up my book & Stationary stall and spent the day in the main Marquee signing copies of my book as part of my Selina Lake Outdoor Living Book tour. I also had a few bric-a-brac items for sale and I was giving out free goodie bags with Thompson & Morgan Wild Flower Seeds, Talking Tables Party Straws, Belvior Fruit Farm drinks and Outdoor Living Cards inside. It was great to meet some of my Midlands Twitter and Instagram followers. The Festival was styled by local Florist Sophie – I loved the floral display in the old bike basket and lace covered hay bale seating. Frances Quinn Winner of The Great British Bake Off was there to judge an Elderflower Cake Competition and some local school kids did a really sweet maypole dance. I bought a punnet of the most delicious locally grown strawberries and enjoyed a glass or two of Belvoir’s Elderflower Presse. It was a very lovely day out!
