| On Friday my sister Aimee Lake & I headed to Mayfield Lavender fields to have a picnic breakfast together. It was my sisters first visit there and she did her hair in a gorgeous festival chic style for the occasion, I’d visited a few times last summer when I was there styling a lavender party for my book Selina Lake Outdoor Living and it was great to be back! |

| For the Lavender Party in my latest book I commissioned Chloe Bakes Cakes to make a few different cakes which I decorated with fresh lavender and sweetpeas. So gorgeous, the fields, the cake, her hair. I love lavender so much, we have many bushes in our garden and I have already started drying for making sachets. Wish we had pretty fields nearby like you do!
