I’m super excited to share some Floral Ideas from my own Wedding with you, as it’s being featured in the latest issue of Wedding Magazine in their new Wedding Flowers Section. My Auntie Linda made us this amazing wedding cake for us, as I wanted our wedding to have a Homespun Feel and we both LOVE proper Victoria Sponge!!

I made my own bouquet on the morning of our Wedding, I hand-tied these Amazing David Austin Roses and white stocks and secured with string, then added the White Ribbon and a vintage broach (My something old) I also made all my bridesmaids bouquets!

We asked some friends and Family to make cakes for our dessert table, my Mum made my favorite Fairy Cakes which I displayed on this Vintage China Cakestand, which my Cousin Hannah handmakes with her friend for their shop, Teacup Boutique. My Wedding Florals feature is spread over 3 pages, also well worth checking out in the same issue is a lovely article about finding the best Florist by Vic Brotherson of Scarlet & Violet and author of one of my fav new books Vintage flowers. Plus Fiona of Bluebellgrays gorgeous Scottish Wedding – I met Fiona last year when we photographed her lovely home for my new book Homespun Style, it was before both our Wedding days so we spent much of the day discussing our own wedding Plans with each other!! The Feb/March 2012 issue of Wedding Magazine, available to buy now.
