Home / Uncategorized / Selina Lake Summer Fete 2013

Back in June I hosted my 1st Handmade & Vintage Summer Fete at the gorgeous grade II listed Market house in the centre of Kingston-Upon-Thames. The Event was supported by Mollie Makes and The Simple Things magazines who offered some fantastic goodie bags, Plastickote who gave away free cans of their fantastic Spray Paints and Homes & Antiques Magazine who took up a corner pitch and sold copies of their latest issues. The fete was made up of stalls all hand-picked by me and they all looked absolouty stunning and really inspiring. We had a good mix of Vintage and handmade items, plus Wild Willow Flower Stall, Bliss Studio Nail Bar, Artyard Handmade workshops and Cakeybakes cake stall. I was delighted with the turn out, we had nearly 700 visitors in the 4 hours the fete was open many who had travelled far and wide to be there – BIG THANK YOU to everyone who came along. Lovely Jacquie was busy running the Vintage Tea Room and my event helpers, Lauren , Clare, Pippa and Karen where a huge help styling the venue and making sure the event ran smoothly big thanks to all of you. Check out Sally Crane’s lovely photo’s from the event:-  As the Fete was so successful I am thinking of making it a regular thing… i’ll keep you posted on plans for a Summer 2014 fete!
