My April

A few snaps from April which I shared via Instagram – @selinalake  So April 2014 has been another busy and very exciting month finally my Book Tour  to celebrate the launch of my latest book Selina Lake Outdoor Living started. The 1st event on my Book Tour was at The White Orchid in Weybridge and was a very lovely day – Big thanks to all who came along! The 2nd issue of new Prima Magazine, Prima Makes hit the newstands with My Favouite things to buy, make and do article and other crafty features I styled including ideas for Barn Dance and summer party decorations like the Rose and Horseshoe wreath I made. Elyse Major featured an Interviewed with me on her Tinkered Treasures blog with a selfie book swap snaps. My new book was featured in The Lady Magazine – you can read the article here. I have also had a few meetings at my favourite London department store – Liberty because I can now tell you with much delight that my book tour is heading there on Sun 11th May – I will be doing an Outdoor Styling class and book signing!!! more details to follow in my next post. If all that wasn’t wonderful enough My husband and I finally completed on the purchase of our new house which we moved into over the Easter weekend, I’m loving it, it’s be so fun discovering things in our overgrown garden … we have wild garlic, apple, plum & fig trees plus a really cute old potting shed, I’ve got so many plans for growing Sweet peas, Stocks & wild flowers!! All in all it’s been another busy but extremely exciting month. Now all of a sudden it’s the 1st on May my Book Tour continues … I will be at The Decorative Living Fair on Thurs 8th, Liberty London Sunday 11th and Powder Blue in Leicester on Sat 17th – I hope you’ve all had a lovely April, here’s to a Sunny & Happy May!
