Last week I was invited to attend a Press Breakfast to celebrate the launch of Anthropologie‘s new store in Guildford, Surrey. I went to high school and college in Guildford and still spent lots of time there seeing friends and shopping, I live about 20mins drive away, so I was really excited to hear one of my favorite shops was opening up a new store on the pretty cobbled high street. Set over two spacious floors the shop is a delight and I couldn’t resist treating myself to a few things for my kitchen, some latte bowls, colour pop glasses and mildred oven mits .. might need to head back for the Eiffel Tower Plate too! If you’ve never visited Guildford, it’s well worth a trip as well as the great shops, including Urban Outfitters & Toast, there are tons of great restaurants like Bills Place, Jamies Olivers, Cote and a fabulous hotel plus it’s also situated along the River Wey and has a very picturesque Castle. Fantastic isn't it. I was there too that day and treated myself to a dress and a few pieces of pottery. Suspect I'll be making weekly visits from now on. Love it.
