Last week I was invited to a Press Event at HEMA in Kingston Upon Thames which I attended with Caroline from 91 Magazine. I’ve been a huge fan of HEMA shops since I was 1st introduced to the brand by Debi Treloar. On every trip I’ve taken to the Netherlands while working on my books – Bazaar Style, Romantic Style, Homespun Style & Pretty Pastel Style I always incorporated a trip to the nearest HEMA shop to stock up on stationary and homewares. So in July 2014 I was delighted to discover HEMA was coming to the UK and opening a shop in Kingston (half an hours drive from my home in Guildford) They now have five shops across the UK with hopefully more coming soon – check their website for details.
Caroline and I were set a challenge at the event to shop our faves by the HEMA Press team so since I’m currently giving my kitchen a mini makeover I opted for products I could use to style my new look kitchen. A copper basket and storage jar for my new shelves. Cute napkins, flora hand soap and stripy tea towels. Plus a few extra essentials, washi tape, gift bags and a pretty floral card. The Kitchen inspiration pics above are a few of my favourites from my Kitchen Pinterest Board. What are your favourite HEMA Buys?
Oh looks lovely! I've never heard of them, off to go and check them out.
